Big barracuda caught on a reef charter off Marathon.
While fishing the reef for yellowtail snapper we caught this 35lb barracuda. The fish ate a whole snapper. After a quick picture the fish was released unharmed. Reef charters offer the most fishing time since we don’t travel as far.

These young guys fished with us today off Marathon and caught some very nice size sea trout. When they get this size we call them gator trout. We caught these on live pin fish.

This time of year the afternoons often bring storms. We saw this big water spout on a tarpon charter Tuesday.
When we encounter weather like this is best to take shelter and wait for the storm to clear. After the storm clear we hook a 9ft bull shark while fishing for tarpon at the Seven Mile bridge in Marathon.
